VICT MUA PLANNED INDUSTRIAL ACTION STARTING FRIDAY 11/06/2021

Dear Valued Clients,

VICT have been notified by the MUA of industrial action commencing Friday 11^th with the planned stoppages daily through to the 16^th of June.  Effectively VICT hours will be dramatically impacted ceasing operation at 6pm each of these days, reducing operating hours by 50%.

Despite the reduced operating hours, containers will still incur storage 72hrs from discharge irrespective of the slot availability.

We are asking all customers to get on the front foot and ensure that all the required documentation for clearance are supplied prior to availability.

While Loch M. Fraser will do everything we can to clear your containers from the terminal within this free time, we will not accept any terminal storage or container demurrage as a result of this MUA industrial action & the terminal approach to free time over this period.
